StockIQ is a stock and crypto research tool for individual investors. You enter a ticker or run a screener, and StockIQ pulls market data, calculates technical and fundamental indicators, and produces a report with a single weighted score and a plain-English explanation of what is driving it.
StockIQ uses two scoring methods, and every report shows the full breakdown behind its score.
When you analyse one stock or ETF, the score starts at a neutral 50. Points are then added or taken away for:
The score is limited to 0–100. Higher scores mean more positive signals.
The market screeners rank many stocks at once using 12 factors with fixed weights:
| RSI | 20% |
| MACD | 20% |
| Short-term momentum | 18% |
| Volume | 10% |
| Medium-term momentum | 8% |
| Long-term momentum | 6% |
| Financial health | 6% |
| Bollinger Bands | 5% |
| Sentiment | 3% |
| Market conditions | 3% |
| Risk | 2% |
| Moving-average trend | 1% |
The screener weighting leans heavily towards momentum and technical indicators, so screener results are best suited to short- and medium-term trading decisions rather than long-term valuation.
