StockIQ uses two scoring methods, and every report shows the full breakdown behind its score.
When you analyse one stock or ETF, the score starts at a neutral 50. Points are then added or taken away for:
The score is limited to 0–100. Higher scores mean more positive signals.
The market screeners rank many stocks at once using 12 factors with fixed weights:

These are the multipliers used in the code. Together they total 102%, so read them as relative weights rather than shares of 100%.
The screeners work from price and volume data only. They do not fetch company financials: the “Financial health” factor uses fixed estimates for a small number of large companies and a neutral default for the rest, “Sentiment” is the day’s price move, and “Risk” reflects the time of year (earnings season). In practice the screener score measures price trend, momentum and volume. It is a short- and medium-term measure and says nothing about valuation. For company fundamentals, run a single-stock report, which does fetch them.
